My boyfriend surprised me by taking me here for dinner on a random day and it quickly became one of my favourite places! This Japanese fusion place is a great place to take a date for any occasion.

The Nori Fries are AMAZING! It’s seasoned so evenly and the fries are covered from head to toe so no matter whichever one you pick, it will be full of flavour. They have different variations and I can’t wait to try the others.

This Side Salad comes with almost every dish, just like if you were to go to any Japanese restaurants. Nothing special about the salad.

The Shiso Clam Vongole has white wine, olive oil, garlic, bacon, tomato and Manila clams. I cannot begin to descibe how amazing this is. There is a good amount of clams and everything has such a bold flavour that isn’t too overpowering. Vongole is more on the lighter side that uses olive oil instead of cream or tomato sauce so you really get to taste to ingredients for what they are.

Their Unagi Don has a cream teriyaki sauce and shimeji mushrooms with Japanese BBQ sauce eel. Again, great flavour and everything is cooked perfectly.

Side Note: After writing this post, I have decided to go to Shiso Tree for dinner this weekend.
