On a breezy summer day, my boyfriend led me through downtown Toronto and brought me to Hank’s for brunch. Even in the day, the modern diner is pretty dark. When we went, the view wasn’t the best because they were doing a lot of construction at the time.
These Mason jars aren’t that expensive but they look so vintage and simple. I’m thinking of using these jars to hold my Christmas gifts for everyone. For what? You’ll have to wait until after the holidays to find out!
I felt like stuffing myself with bacon, eggs and home fries and the Cheesy Eggs had everything I wanted. The bacon was cooked perfectly too; I like it half crunchy and half soft.
Hank’s Burger may look like a small burger but it really fills you up. Matthew usually eats quite a bit but this filled him up. I don’t know if he ate something beforehand but the 8oz. meat patty is pretty thick. Plus, with a crispy onion ring in the centre complete with mushrooms and Swiss cheese, it will surely satisfy you.
It takes awhile for the servers to notice you but they come at the right times, except to refill your water. Not that I’m complaining or anything.
